Charalá is a town in Santander, known for its historical role in Simon Bolivar's independence campaign. Furthermore, it’s mainly recognized for its loom weaving tradition and technique, inherited from the native Guane people. In this community, many women are experts in the artisanal craftmanship of ponchos, shawls, bags and espadrilles.

The necklace is inspired by the colors of this enchanted place: the intense blue sky, the white walls and the tones of the clay roof tiles.

It is very light, versatile and can be used in all seasons. Use it to give an special touch to any outfit.

The necklace is made of a tube with a pattern that is hand-woven with Mykonos blue thread using artisanal basket-weaving techniques. It is decorated with crystal beads in dark blue tones, tear shaped zamak pendants, Czech crystal dagger beads in cooper tones, metallic pieces and roud shaped pendant. The chain is tubular and has a hook closure for an easy put on.

  • All the silver pieces are in zamak (aluminum, magnesium and copper alloy) with a silver coating. They are nickel free.
  • Measurement: 46cms long (to ask us to personalize a measure, you must write a note in the check out process with the desired measure, but some additional costs may come up).
  • Designed and handmade in Barcelona.
